Chief Operating Officer

We are looking for a Chief Operation Operation for a leading Food Processing organization in the KSA.
KRA’s for the role are :
 Set up, monitor, manage, & develop the Production Policies.
 Set up, monitor, manage, & develop the Production Procedures.
 Set up, monitor, manage, & develop plant sanitization.
 Set up, monitor, manage, & develop the Quality Standards at all functions.
 Set up, monitor, manage, & develop the Workflow.
 Set up, monitor, manage, & develop the plant safety policies & procedures.
 Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
 Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality
standards
 Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
 Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
 Set up, implement, & develop strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
 Set up, monitor & develop operations and trigger corrective actions
 Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
 Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
 Set up, monitor, & develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and
performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
 Address employees’ issues or complaints and administer collective bargaining agreements
 Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
 Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant
 Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance
 Set up, monitor, & develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
 Ensure company policies and procedures are always followed
 Screen, interview and manage the onboarding process of new hires
 Set up, develop, & provide training and educational materials to staff on frequent basis.
 Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order
 Repair or replace plant equipment as needed
 Monitoring the production lines and doing periodic Quality Control checks
 Set up, monitor, manage, develop & implement improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in
product quality
 Working together with other teams to discuss solutions of quality issues
 Satisfying customer expectations about the product’s quality
 Utilizing extensive knowledge of the product’s inner workings to diagnose problems
 Continuing education on newly developing Quality Control techniques
 Understand customer needs and requirements to set up & develop effective quality control processes
 Set up, manage, monitor, develop and review specifications for products or processes
 Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
 Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
 Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
 Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
 Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
 Approve the right products or reject defectives
 Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
 Seek feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
 Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
 Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
 Oversee production planning and management activities within the organization.
 Set up, manage, monitor & develop production plan, budget, and timelines according to production specifications.
 Set up, manage, monitor & determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.
 Determine equipment, materials and manpower required to complete production.
 Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.
 Assist in employee hiring, training, performance evaluation, retention, and termination activities.
 Future scenario planning support including schedule forecasting and reporting
 Interface with valued customer, meeting their daily requests and project planning, creating, and dispersing required reports,
and participate in plant audits.
 Ensuring the highest level of sanitation, safety, and quality for the products produced
 Set up, manage, monitor, develop, and evaluates plant sanitation practices, processes, and methods.
 Set up, manage, monitor & develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and MSS (Master Sanitation Schedule)
 Other tasks/responsibilities as needed

The ideal applicant should be from a food processing background into operations for a minimum of 12 years and immediate joiners preferred
